Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews to assess clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, ensuring comprehensive documentation from the initial consultation to ongoing treatment.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for a variety of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, aimed at addressing specific mental health challenges.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies and maintaining a safe space for clients to express their feelings and experiences.

• Regularly monitor client progress against treatment objectives, making necessary adjustments to intervention plans to ensure the most effective support.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, participating in case discussions and sharing expertise to optimize client outcomes.

• Maintain comprehensive communication with psychiatrists and attending physicians when coordinating care for clients admitted to hospitals.

• Identify and proactively address behaviors that hinder recovery, providing strategies for clients to overcome these challenges.

• Support families and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health issues, equipping them with tools to assist their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from various backgrounds and face a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and relationship issues. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting these clients by delivering personalized care that respects their unique narratives and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Texas.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling services.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as AVATAR to manage client documentation effectively.
\n
• A solid understanding of co-occurring mental and physical health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.
\n
• Knowledge of and adherence to the best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• An understanding of the pharmacological effects of medications commonly prescribed for mental health issues.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine empathetic nature, allowing for meaningful connections with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
