The National Surgical Consultant will be instrumental in driving the sales and demonstration of advanced surgical capital equipment specifically tailored to ophthalmology. Accountabilities Assist in demonstrating and selling ophthalmic surgical capital equipment. Coordinate with various teams for installations and training. Educate sales teams to enhance product knowledge and expertise. Work with marketing to develop profitable sales strategies. Communicate market trends and competitive activities effectively. Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and institutions. Requirements Four (4) years college degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years' experience in ophthalmic surgical capital equipment sales. High level of technical and clinical knowledge of ophthalmic equipment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database management. Excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills. Valid motor vehicle license required. Ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays. Knowledge of Carl ZEISS Meditec and competitive products. Self-motivated and reliable working independently. Creative problem-solving and strong interpersonal skills. Comfortable with a fast-paced, complex environment. Benefits Competitive salary starting at $125,000 plus commission.
