About the Practice The Government Contracts Practice Group advises clients on a broad range of federal procurement and grants matters, including regulatory compliance, investigations, disputes, and litigation. The team represents government contractors, grant recipients, and commercial clients on complex matters involving federal acquisition regulations, enforcement actions, and procurement challenges. Key Opportunities This opportunity is ideal for attorneys seeking to develop their skills in: Federal government contracts and grants compliance FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) matters Uniform Guidance compliance and regulatory counseling Government contracts and grants investigations Bid protests and procurement disputes Prime contractor and subcontractor disputes Key Responsibilities Advise clients on government contracts and grants compliance matters Handle matters involving FAR, DFARS, and Uniform Guidance requirements Assist with government contracts and grants investigations Support False Claims Act matters, bid protests, and procurement disputes Conduct legal research and analysis on complex regulatory issues Draft legal memoranda, briefs, motions, contracts, and related legal documents Collaborate closely with attorneys across the practice group to deliver strategic client solutions Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Minimum of 2 years of experience in government contracts and/or grants matters Experience in one or more of the following: Uniform Guidance; Government contracts or grants investigations; False Claims Act matters; Bid protests; Prime contractor and subcontractor disputes Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong academic credentials Law firm, government, and/or judicial clerkship experience preferred Active bar admission and good standing in the relevant jurisdiction Benefits Competitive compensation ranging from $215,000 – $355,000 annually, determined based on experience, education, skills, credentials, responsibilities, and overall qualifications.
