Construction Superintendent

We're hiring a Wastewater Superintendent to join our client's team. At any given time, the group is running 8–10 active projects throughout the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area, spanning pump stations, lift stations, and both major rehabilitation and ground-up construction of wastewater treatment facilities. Individual project run from $20M to $200M+. This client offers a strong leadership bench, an entirely local project portfolio, and competitive pay with a solid benefits package. Requirements: At least 5 years serving as a Superintendent on municipal water/wastewater construction projects valued above $25 million. What You'll Be Responsible For: Site & Project Oversight Keep the jobsite clean, organized, and running efficiently Build out and maintain the Site Utilization Plan Own project planning from the ground up — build the pre-job plan and select the construction methods to be used Coordinate equipment needs alongside the Project Manager Stay on top of subcontractors and vendors daily and weekly, troubleshoot construction issues as they arise, and keep the project moving on schedule Flag and document any subcontractor change orders or back-charges that could impact profitability, working to minimize them wherever possible Keep precise records of time and costs Go through monthly subcontractor pay applications to confirm billed progress lines up with actual completed work Dig into weekly labor and monthly job cost reports to catch problem areas early, adjusting processes as needed to keep spending on target Stay current on all site reporting obligations — daily logs, SOS reports, weekly unit reports, two-week look-ahead updates, and monthly schedule revisions Safety & Quality Oversee the Quality Control Program Uphold safety expectations, keeping tabs on planning, execution, and documentation for the project Closeout Bring the project to completion in accordance with contract terms #J-18808-Ljbffr Talent ACQ
