Overview

Prevailance is seeking a Knowledge Management / Data Analyst to support the National Guard Bureau ( NGB ) Joint Lessons Learned Analysis Services ( JLLAS ) contract within the National Capital Region. This position is expected to primarily telework, with on-site and travel attendance required for briefings, working groups, and events as needed. Travel is estimated at approximately 25%.

The Knowledge Management / Data Analyst supports the National Guard Joint Lessons Learned Program ( JLLP ) by integrating knowledge management, data analysis, technical editing, and analyst support functions. This position maintains lessons learned information within authoritative knowledge repositories, supports data-driven readiness and trend analysis, develops leadership-ready products, and provides additional collection and analytical support during periods of increased workload.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Maintain the Joint Lessons Learned Information System ( JLLIS ) across NIPRNet and SIPRNet as the system of record, ensuring records are properly catalogued and meta-tagged for effective retrieval
• Develop and support presentation of informational briefings on joint lessons learned topics, translating collection and analysis products into leadership-ready materials
• Support compliance with NGB style standards and provide technical editing across Lessons Learned Reports ( LLRs ), Quick Look Reports ( QLRs ), and After Action Reports ( AARs )
• Conduct Government-authorized artificial intelligence ( AI )-assisted data analysis and maintain database tracking in support of readiness assessments and trend identification
• Provide surge and backup collection support, including interviews, questionnaires, and Requests for Information ( RFIs ), during peak workloads or analyst absences
• Coordinate with the NGB Joint Knowledge Management Officer ( JKMO ) to ensure JLLP content organization complies with enterprise SharePoint architecture, taxonomies, and naming conventions
• Support integrated knowledge management, data analysis, analytical writing, and other junior analyst functions supporting the NG JLLP
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Program Manager, including administrative support

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of combined knowledge management, data analysis, and/or analytical writing experience within the last 10 years
• Familiarity with data analysis tools used with structured databases, such as Power BI, Tableau, Notion, or Coda
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard collaborative software
• U.S. Citizenship required

Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Security Clearance

• Must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with content management systems, SharePoint, JLLIS, or similar Department of War (DoW) knowledge-management platforms
• Experience with AI-assisted research methods
• Experience using enterprise-level tools and workflows for large, structured repositories supported by platforms such as Palantir Foundry, Confluence, or ServiceNow Knowledge
