Requirements:

- NYS Nursing Assistant Certification

- BLS certification (AHA or RQI only)

- One year of experience in long-term care or CNA capacity

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure comfort and safety.

- Maintain a safe environment for residents including prompt response to call lights and alarms.

- Support residents' nutritional needs, including meal delivery and feeding assistance.

- Provide rehabilitative support according to residents' care plans.

- Report any changes in residents' physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to the supervising nurse promptly.

Compliance / Notes:

Occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated. Required tasks involve potential contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
