A Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide direct therapy services in a school setting located in Woodville, TX. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to support students in grades 3 through 5 with speech and language needs, primarily delivered through teletherapy.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Duration: Immediate start through May 27, 2027
• Work Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 12:15 PM (days are flexible; times are fixed)
• Caseload: Approximately 30 students
• Service Delivery: Direct therapy sessions, primarily via telespeech/teletherapy platforms

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience providing speech-language therapy within school systems
• Proficiency with teletherapy tools and platforms for effective remote intervention
• Strong understanding of developmental speech and language disorders typical in elementary grades
• Ability to manage a caseload and provide individualized treatment plans

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students using telepractice methods
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress
• Maintain appropriate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet students' unique communication needs
• Participate in necessary meetings and stay informed of student goals and outcomes
