Work Environment

As a full-time member of our onsite team, you will work directly with patients within our modern rehabilitation center, which hosts the latest equipment and amenities designed to enhance therapy outcomes. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life commitment. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patients' goals and rehabilitation needs through thorough evaluations and clinical assessments.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one individual per hour to ensure personalized attention and quality care.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop and implement tailored treatment strategies.
• Employ cost-effective interventions that focus on enhancing patients' mobility, minimizing pharmacological dependencies.
• Create and execute comprehensive care plans using diverse treatment techniques, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and functional training.
• Incorporate fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's specific requirements and overall health objectives.
• Motivate and educate patients to optimize their recovery process, promoting adherence to prescribed exercise and lifestyle modifications.

Qualifications

• Current Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapy license in Suffolk, VA, with no disciplinary actions taken against it.
• Strong background in manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to design effective exercise programs.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT, ensuring an efficient workflow.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
