JOB DESCRIPTION:
Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Contracts Analyst V to support large-scale energy infrastructure projects. This role will lead the full lifecycle management of high-value construction contracts, ensuring strong risk mitigation, compliance, and successful execution across complex “mega projects.”
This position is ideal for someone with deep experience in EPC contracts, energy or oil & gas environments, and strong exposure to executive stakeholders. This is a 6-month contract to hire opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead drafting, redlining, negotiation, and execution of complex construction and vendor contracts
- Analyze contract terms for risk, compliance, and alignment with project goals; recommend mitigation strategies
- Partner closely with legal teams to drive efficient negotiations and contract execution
- Manage contract performance including deliverables, change orders, and dispute resolution
- Track project milestones, budgets, and risk; deliver executive-level reporting and insights
- Collaborate cross-functionally with project management, procurement, engineering, and finance teams
- Oversee insurance requirements, billing processes, and financial projections tied to contracts
- Serve as a subject matter expert on EPC and other complex procurement models
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of contract analysis/management experience
- 3–5+ years in energy, oil & gas, or large construction projects
- Strong experience with EPC contracts and large “Mega Projects”
- Proven track record working on high-visibility contracts with executive/C-suite exposure
- Strong financial acumen (cash flow, risk analysis, contract economics)
- Excellent negotiation skills and high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, including executive-level presentations
- Proficiency in contract management tools and Microsoft Office
Preferred
- Advanced degree or certifications such as CPCM or NCMA
