Customer Service Representative We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support customer service operations within an Explosive Manufacturing Department serving Oil & Gas customers. This role will be responsible for managing customer orders, tracking shipments, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SAP or other ERP systems, strong administrative skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Customer Service & Order Management Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customer inquiries. Process and manage customer sales orders from order entry through shipment. Provide customers with monthly status updates on open orders. Monitor order progress and proactively follow up with customers and production teams. Prepare and coordinate orders related to product shipments. Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with Production, Buyers, and Planners to track and expedite customer orders. Communicate shipment schedules, order updates, and delivery timelines. Assist in resolving order discrepancies and customer concerns. Record Maintenance & Reporting Maintain accurate records of asset delivery progress and invoicing activities. Track open orders and provide status reporting as requested. Ensure customer information and order data remain accurate and up to date. Systems & Data Management Maintain and improve data integrity within the SAP system. Process customer information, order details, and transaction records accurately. Resolve licensing issues reported by customers and document resolutions within the support database. Support continuous process improvements using Manufacturing System tools and principles. Required Qualifications Associate Degree required. 1-3 years of SAP experience. Experience working with ERP systems. Strong administrative and office support skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service within a manufacturing environment. Experience supporting Oil & Gas customers. Familiarity with order processing, shipment coordination, and invoicing functions. Experience maintaining customer records and operational databases.
