About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP, Payer Sales to spearhead the acquisition of new health plan business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading a team that is dedicated to winning new business across the company's software and services portfolio. This leadership role demands a strategic approach to payer sales, including the ownership of sales strategy, pipeline, forecasting, and new business results. The SVP will also be tasked with personally advancing the most significant payer opportunities and must be adept at building and nurturing relationships with senior health plan leaders. A deep understanding of the healthcare technology and services sales landscape, particularly in the payer market, is essential. Applicants for the SVP, Payer Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in healthcare technology or services sales, with at least five years in a leadership role focused on payer sales. The role requires a proven track record in winning complex enterprise deals with health plans and meeting new business targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in value-based care, risk adjustment, and quality programs, and experience in selling these solutions to health plans. Core competencies include the ability to identify and pursue the most promising payer opportunities, lead enterprise deals, and influence senior health plan leaders. The SVP will also be expected to demonstrate executive presence, commercial judgment, and the ability to lead a sales team while remaining directly involved in critical deals.
