Adult Inpatient Palliative Care Physician Job ID: 1135748 Location: RWJBarnabas Health in partnership with Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Position Overview In an academically oriented Adult Inpatient Palliative Care Physician role, you will provide comprehensive inpatient palliative care services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick and the Jack and Sheryl Morris Cancer Center, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support patients and families facing serious illness. The physician will also play an active role in education, teaching fellows, medical students, residents, and providers across the campus. Responsibilities Provide inpatient palliative care clinical services. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patients and families. Teach fellows, medical students, residents, and other providers. Participate in clinical and research collaborations, including clinical trials, cancer chemoprevention, and basic pharmacology. Qualifications MD (or equivalent) and board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine preferred. Ability to work in an academic teaching environment and contribute to education. Compensation The anticipated salary range is $285,000 - $330,000 per year.
