MercyOne Clinton Medical Center has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our Anesthesiology team located in Clinton, Iowa. MercyOne Clinton is seeking CRNAs to provide services through scheduled or on call coverage with no nights or weekends. Services include general anesthesia, general surgical, pediatric, cardiac, thoracic, obstetrical, intravenous sedation, intravenous regional, regional blocks, and conductive anesthesia for the hospital’s patients including inpatients, surgical outpatients, and patients receiving emergency care. Position details: Immediate opening Independent Practice Competitive base salary and bonus Hospital is eligible for the loan repayment program Great location – 2 hours from Chicago, 90 minutes from Iowa City, 2.5 hours from Madison, Wisconsin Bread and butter cases, OB. Regional/blocks, central lines – No hearts or heads CRNAs at MercyOne also provide pre‑evaluation anesthesia services, post‑surgical monitoring for complications related to the administration of anesthesia, and prompt response to codes. Our CRNAs work collaboratively with members of the OR leadership team, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff, along with surgeons, perioperative staff, and management to assure delivery of high quality, cost‑effective care while ensuring adherence to evidence‑based perioperative practice and regulatory standards. MercyOne CRNAs maintain oversight of hospital‑wide moderate sedation and participate in Peer Review.
