Hiring: Credit & Collections Representative (On-site - Somerset, NJ)

Are you a Credit & Collections professional with experience managing large corporate portfolios? I am currently partnering with a global industry leader to find an experienced Credit & Collections Representative to join their team on-site in Somerset, NJ!

Pay Rate: $30.17/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Type: Full-time, Contract

What you’ll be doing:

Portfolio Management: Oversee an assigned portfolio of large corporate (B2B) accounts, driving timely collections and managing outstanding balances.
Credit Decisioning: Review orders on credit hold to determine risk, and evaluate/adjust customer credit limits up to $25,000.
Dispute Resolution: Reconcile customer accounts, resolve payment discrepancies, and partner with internal Sales and Customer Service teams to address inquiries.
Risk Mitigation: Identify potential bad debt accounts and prepare files for outsourcing when internal efforts are exhausted.

What we’re looking for:

3-5 years of dedicated Credit & Collections experience (Large corporate/B2B experience is a must).
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with ERP systems (like Oracle PeopleSoft) and credit reporting tools (like Dun & Bradstreet or Creditsafe).
Strong problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
