Manager of Business Development - Professional Services Firm - Boston - Hybrid A leading professional services firm is seeking a Manager of Business Development to support the growth and strategic business development initiatives. This role will partner closely with attorneys and senior business development leadership to identify growth opportunities, strengthen market positioning, develop client strategies, and drive revenue-generating initiatives across practices. Responsibilities: Develop and execute business development plans for assigned practice areas Partner with attorneys and practice leaders to identify growth, client development, and cross-selling opportunities Lead RFPs, pitches, proposals, and other new business initiatives Develop practice materials, client presentations, case/deal lists, and website content Conduct market, industry, competitor, and client research to identify opportunities Collaborate with PR and marketing teams to promote attorneys, matters, and firm successes Support directory and industry ranking submissions Manage practice marketing budgets and track business development initiativesPartner with regional marketing teams on events, seminars, sponsorships, and other initiatives Maintain CRM and client engagement data Contribute to firmwide strategic marketing and business development projects Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required,8+ years of business development/marketing experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Strong client-service mindset and ability to build relationships with attorneys and business professionals This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, growing team. The expected basecompensation range is approximately $130K-$190K, depending on experience.
