Key Qualifications:

• Completed associate’s degree from an accredited SLPA program or equivalent
• Valid SLPA state licensure/certification
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting (required)
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and educational staff
• Ability to work independently and follow directions from supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
• Organized, flexible, and adept at time management
• Preference given to candidates who are not recent graduates

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of licensed SLPs
• Support students with implementation of individualized communication goals
• Assist in preparing therapy materials and maintaining accurate records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
• Document student progress and support data collection for IEP meetings
• Communicate updates and relevant information to supervising SLP and educational team
