This hybrid position uniquely blends remote and onsite responsibilities, requiring in-person support at a local high school for at least 2 hours per week, with overall duties averaging 20 hours weekly. You'll serve on an educational team, specializing in assistive technology (AT) to empower student success.

What You'll Bring:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Active Texas SLP license (Texas Dept. of Licensing and Regulation)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-slp), with required hours logged
• Experience with eye gaze technology, particularly the Accent device (programming, calibration, and maintenance)
• Familiarity with supporting school-aged children and collaborating with educational teams
• Ability to evaluate and document for private school referrals
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• References ready upon request

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver in-person direct AT support for one student using eye gaze technology at a designated high school
• Oversee set-up, calibration, programming, and maintenance of the Accent device
• Consult with and guide the student’s educational team regarding AT integration
• Conduct speech-language evaluations for private school referrals
• Maintain documentation in compliance with professional and district standards
• Travel onsite as needed (at least 2 hours/week); remainder of the position may be fulfilled remotely
