Business Analyst – Healthcare Systems / Medicaid Projects Columbia, SC (Hybrid) Contract Opportunity Hybrid Schedule: 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote About the Opportunity We’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support large-scale healthcare technology and Medicaid modernization projects within a complex enterprise environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working between business and technical teams, gathering requirements, improving processes, and helping drive impactful system initiatives in the healthcare space. If you have experience with healthcare systems, government programs, or Medicaid environments and enjoy solving business challenges through technology, this could be a strong fit. What You’ll Be Doing Business Analysis & Requirements Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and document requirements Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications Support requirement tracking, validation, and change management processes Help ensure project deliverables align with business goals Process Improvement & Documentation Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for operational improvements Document: Business processes Process flows Business rules Data requirements Assist with business process redesign efforts tied to new systems and technologies Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with project managers, technical teams, vendors, and business users Provide clarification and support to development and testing teams Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders Participate in issue resolution, risk discussions, and solution planning Healthcare & Medicaid Systems Support Support healthcare and Medicaid-related technology initiatives Research healthcare regulations, policies, and operational requirements Maintain documentation repositories and business rules libraries What We’re Looking For Required Experience 5+ years of Business Analyst experience on enterprise IT projects Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, workflows, and process documentation 3+ years of experience in healthcare, Medicaid, or government-related environments Strong understanding of process mapping and business analysis methodologies Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Experience Experience with healthcare insurance or Medicaid systems Familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar project management tools Experience working with leadership teams and cross-functional organizations Knowledge of healthcare operations, compliance, or regulatory environments Ideal Candidate Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset Comfortable working in large, fast-paced enterprise environments Excellent communicator who can bridge technical and business teams Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Collaborative team player who can adapt to changing priorities Additional Information Hybrid work schedule based in Columbia, SC Candidates should currently reside in South Carolina or be open to relocating before the start date Opportunity to contribute to impactful healthcare technology transformation initiatives #J-18808-Ljbffr CornerStone Technology Talent Services
