The organization is investing in growth across a key product segment and is looking to add an Applications Engineer to support that expansion. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and commercial execution, offering the opportunity to work directly with customers, influence solution design, and play a meaningful role in driving business growth.This is a highly visible role where you will act as the technical extension of the commercial team, helping translate customer needs into practical, value-driven solutions. You'll be involved throughout the sales process—from early-stage discussions through installation—ensuring solutions are technically sound, well-positioned, and aligned with real-world applications. If you enjoy working directly with customers, understanding how products are used in the field, and helping teams win business through technical expertise, this is a strong fit.Responsibilities:Serve as the technical subject matter expert during customer interactions, supporting sales calls, presentations, and solution discussionsWork closely with customers to understand their operations and recommend effective product configurationsSupport development of technical proposals, ensuring feasibility and alignment with customer requirementsParticipate in site visits, pre-install assessments, and installations to ensure successful implementationAct as a liaison between Sales, Product Management, and Engineering, helping streamline communication and reduce reliance on internal engineering resourcesAssist in reviewing drawings and technical documentation, providing input on design and applicationSupport ongoing technical training and enablement for the commercial teamWhat You'll Be Focused On:Application of engineered products in real-world environmentsUnderstanding: How products functionHow they're used in the fieldHow to position them effectively with customersTranslating complex technical solutions into clear, practical recommendationsDesired Experience:Technical background (Engineering degree preferred) with the ability to operate in a customer-facing roleExperience in a B2B equipment or engineered product environmentStrong understanding of how products are applied in real-world settingsAbility to review and interpret CAD drawings (SolidWorks/AutoCAD experience is helpful; this is not a design-heavy role)Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersA consultative, engaging personality—comfortable working directly with customers and internal teams
