Senior Scientist - T Cell Immunology

Position summary: Amplitude Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist to expand our growing Immunology capabilities, with focus on advancing our in vivo T cells vaccines and CAR-T platform. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about being a part of a cross-functional team, advancing novel RNA and delivery technologies to enable medicines across oncology, autoimmune, and infectious disease applications. The primary responsibilities for this role are to originate & implement strategy and generate the data to which validate and advance RNA medicines to T cells, leveraging Amplitude’s proprietary delivery and RNA technologies. A strong willingness and desire to be at the bench to directly advance the science will be a critical expectation for this role. The ideal candidate will have 3-7+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in industry. Hands-on experience with T cell vaccines and/or CAR-T work is critical for the success in this role, as is the ability to implement assays to allow comparison across model-systems and species. A strong background in flow cytometry and deep in vitro assay (e.g. ELISpot, co-culture) skills are required. A track-record of productivity, independence and a willingness & desire to be hands-on and at the bench is required. Key responsibilities: Develop primary T cell assays (e.g. co-culture, restimulation, target cell lysis) to generate extensive in vitro datasets; maintain target-expressing cell lines Design and executed in vitro experiments to shape the evolution of Amplitude’s T cell targeted programs. Optimize flow cytometry panels from wild-type, humanized mice, and NHPs. Design and execute endpoint T cell assays for vaccine efforts (e.g. ICS) Contribute to the advancement of leads internal and collaboration programs. Maintain detailed record of experimental protocols and data in electronic lab notebook. Collaborate across research teams to facilitate the success of programs. Qualifications: Ph.D. in immunology or related field with 3-7+ years of relevant experience in industry Expertise in primary human cell culture, immune profiling, flow cytometry and functional assays (e.g. proliferation, cytotoxicity) is required Experience with T cells vaccines and/or CAR T is required, with relevant in vivo CAR T (LNP or LVV) experiences being desired Hands on experience with in vivo (mouse) experiments (e.g. IV / IM administrations, serum isolations, spleen isolations) is a plus.
