Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations, developing customized treatment plans in alignment with their recovery goals.
• Implement an array of therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, stretching regimens, hands-on manual therapy, and the application of modalities tailored to each patient's requirements.
• Continuously track and document patient progress, noting responses to treatment and adjusting plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers about their conditions and provide training on the use of assistive devices to foster independence in daily activities.
• Participate in team meetings and case reviews to collaborate on patient care strategies, ensuring a coordinated approach across the multidisciplinary health team.
• Stay abreast of best practices in physical therapy through attending educational workshops and engaging with professional networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you'll work with range from pediatrics to geriatrics, encompassing a wide spectrum of diagnoses including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Your ability to tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual will directly impact their recovery journey and long-term functional capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Current and valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey treatment information to patients and team members.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic computer applications.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Experience
