Responsibilities
- Deliver RN-directed care for ESRD patients during dialysis treatments in an outpatient dialysis unit; monitor vital signs, respond to changes, and provide symptom management as needed.
- Manage vascular access and dialysis-related procedures within scope; administer medications, fluids, and prescribed treatments; maintain sterile technique and infection control.
- Document all patient care and planning in EPIC, ensuring timely, accurate charting in accordance with policy and recent experience.
- Collaborate with nephrology and interdisciplinary teams; provide patient and family education on dialysis procedures, medications, nutrition, and fluid management.
- Maintain flexibility with scheduling and hours (8/9/10/12-hour shifts as needed); weekend coverage may be required; no on-call expectations.
- Float to assigned additional sites (St. Albans and Berlin) as needed and maintain consistent, high-quality care across locations.

Requirements
- Current Vermont registered nurse license in good standing
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years RN experience; at least 1 year outpatient dialysis experience
- EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Ability to work in an outpatient dialysis setting and to care for ESRD patient populations
- Reliable transportation; public transportation is not accessible locally
- Willingness to float to St. Albans and Berlin as needed
- Availability to start on October 19, 2026
