What you will have an opportunity to do The cleanliness of a hotel is a key factor in guest satisfaction. We are looking for individuals with great attention to detail to join our Housekeeping team as a Laundry Attendant. The ideal candidate creates a memorable experience for our guests through attention to detail and care in preparing and maintaining guest linens. Role: Laundry Attendant Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well. Work as a team to achieve resort/hotel cleanliness goals. Laundry duties as required (washing, drying, ironing, and folding of all SPI guest room linen as well as restaurant/catering linens). Keep laundry areas and common areas clean and organized. Daily cleaning of housekeeping and maintenance staff restrooms. Understand proper utilization of equipment and chemicals, and knowledge of safety procedures. Assist housemen and housekeepers as necessary. Help maintain a safe work environment. Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to other team members. What are we looking for? Housekeeping experience desirable. Neat, pleasant personality. Time management skills. Ability to work on feet for extended periods. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to move and position self to reach corners; observe conditions; detect odors; navigate carts up to 100 lbs in tight spaces; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters. Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs. Compensation Compensation: $15.00 per hour. Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
