Role Overview Working directly alongside the General Counsel, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting deal execution and advising bankers and corporate functions across the firm. This position offers significant responsibility from day one and provides a clear, structured path toward a broader transactional legal career. Key Responsibilities The Associate Legal Counsel will be responsible for a wide range of transactional, commercial, and compliance matters, including: Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating engagement letters, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), access letters, and other deal-related documentation. Commercial Agreements: Reviewing and negotiating various commercial agreements, including vendor, consulting, licensing, and service contracts. Compliance & KYC: Supporting investment bankers through internal compliance, conflicts of interest resolution, and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes. Stakeholder Advisory: Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to provide practical, commercial, and actionable legal guidance. Legal Innovation: Helping drive legal innovation initiatives, including the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and modern technology solutions across legal workflows.
