Certified Surgery Technologist - Orthopedic Specialty

This position offers variable shift start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with a primary shift from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There may also be possible on-call requirements.

The Certified Surgery Technologist (CST) will assist in orthopedic surgical procedures, preparing and maintaining the sterile field, and supporting the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment.
• Assist surgical teams during operative procedures by providing necessary instrumentation and supplies.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of the patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Help in the preparation of operating rooms and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
• Participate in patient care and manage surgical instruments during operations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Strong CST credentials are required.
• Certifications including COVID-19 vaccination, MMR, 2 Step PPD, Varicella, and others are mandated.
• Trinity-specific competency and security agreements must be completed prior to onboarding.
