• End Date: 03/29/2027
• Shift: Day shift 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM; rotating weekend rounding; night call on Monday/Tuesday
• Hours/Week: 40 hours/week
• Employment Type: Contract
• Licensure: Active CA Medical License, Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry or General Psychiatry with CAP fellowship
• Experience: 2+ years in adolescent psychiatric care preferred

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $273/hour
• Weekly Pay Schedule: Direct deposit

• Additional Compensation:
  • Night call: $750/night
  • In-person coverage: $300/hour
  • Telehealth coverage: $225/hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide psychiatric care for adolescent patients, including medication management and psychotherapy
• Conduct daily rounding on assigned patients, assessing progress and adjusting treatments
• Manage admissions and on-call duties during nights and weekends
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Lead and oversee patient care activities, guiding other healthcare professionals as needed
• Navigate challenging behaviors with therapeutic and de-escalation techniques
• Document clinical assessments and treatment progress in accordance with facility protocols

What You Need:

• Active CA Medical License and Board Certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (or General Psychiatry with CAP fellowship)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience with adolescents
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric diagnostics, medications, and therapies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively within a culturally diverse patient population
