This person should be mature enough to credibly represent the company with senior stakeholders, but hungry enough to actively build a market from the ground up. The right candidate will be self-led, organized, persistent, personable, and capable of learning a specialized electrical infrastructure business quickly. This is not a passive relationship management role. It requires initiative, discipline, follow-through, and the ability to turn fragmented market activity into a visible, measurable pipeline. THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 3-7+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, construction, infrastructure, engineering, public-sector contracting, or a related field. Familiarity with public bidding, RFQs/RFPs, procurement processes, capital improvement programs, and government-funded or owner-funded infrastructure projects preferred. Experience working with or selling to engineering firms, general contractors, municipalities, DOT agencies, airport authorities, port authorities. Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and follow-up skills. Proven ability to develop new relationships and convert them into qualified opportunities. Comfortable using CRM systems to manage leads, qualified leads, opportunities, contacts, activities, and sales forecasts.
