Leasing Consultant

Position Overview It is an exciting time for IMT as we continue to expand our portfolio! We are hiring a Leasing Consultant for our brand-new luxury mixed‑use development, Via Avanti , which includes 325 apartment homes and over 36,000 square feet of retail spaces in Sherman Oaks, CA. Position Details As a Leasing Consultant , you will guide people through the process of becoming a resident from the time they inquire about living with us to the time they move in. You will continue the relationship by taking care of their needs to ensure a high quality of community living and a feeling of home. Responsibilities Lease available apartments Assist residents and provide outstanding customer service Build lasting relationships with residents Renew existing leases Stay abreast of Fair Housing laws and regulations Ensure property site conditions are impeccable Conduct market research and assist with business outreach marketing, resident functions, and other promotional programs Additional projects and/or duties as assigned by the Community Manager Qualifications Sales and customer service experience; apartment leasing experience is a plus The ability to connect with a variety of people Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills Motivation to succeed driven by a desire to meet or exceed goals and earn incentives based on performance The ability to work well in a high volume and sometimes stressful environment The ability to work well independently as well as within a team setting A positive attitude, and the desire to learn and develop your skills College education helpful Availability to work weekends because that is when many customers need you Active and valid driver license is required Benefits Pay – $21.00–$23.00/hr, depending upon skills and experience related to the role Bonuses for all associates at the properties – Monthly bonuses based on the team's performance for everyone, and leasing bonuses for all associates with sales responsibilities Health – Medical, dental, vision, wellbeing programs, gym membership contributions Financial – 401(k) with company match, medical and dependent care flexible spending accounts, life insurance, 20% housing discount Career – Comprehensive training programs, mentorships Leasing training – Leasing Designation Program unique to IMT with training courses for leasing associates to obtain more knowledge and build skills which can lead to career advancement, bonuses, and pay raises Time off – PTO, vacation, holidays Perks – Office, region and nationwide events including team lunches, community service opportunities, apartment industry events, contests, end‑of‑the‑year celebrations, and more!
