You are responsible for taking the lead in helping build a high-performance team capable of differentiating Valvoline Instant Oil Change's (VIOC) service experience from all other providers. In addition to working on cars and taking care of our guests, you will advise, train, and supervise hourly employees and ensure company policies and procedures are executed consistently. You'll be expected to:Perform oil changes and additional car maintenance services, educate guests on vehicle maintenance requirements and ensure that recommended services are reviewedWhile working on the floor, supervise daily operations of the service center and train new team membersBuild trust and win repeat, loyal customers by working with your team to ensure excellent customer service through Valvoline's quick, easy, trusted processDevelop and maintain efficient weekly work schedules for employees, ensuring optimal coverage, managing schedule conflicts and following labor lawsAssist with inventory process, ensuring appropriate product levels and scheduling ordersAssist with store audits (ex. Safety, performance, culture). Help maintain a clean, well-organized service center and facilitate a safe and secure working environmentOpen and close the service center, ensuring all safety and security protocols are followedLead, and train the team to optimize their developmentWe're committed to putting our people first in every way possible. We seek team members with:1 year of supervisory experience required (coaching, training, and supervising a team), preferably in a retail or service-related environmentCustomer service mindset and demonstrated ability to build loyalty while following company proceduresExperience in a fast-paced environment and history of making sound judgements under pressureExperience using KPI data to monitor performance, trends, and identify areas for improvementSchedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don't work late nights or holidays)English fluency in reading, writing, and speakingHigh School Diploma or equivalentWe expect you can:Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 poundsCrouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your headBe comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environmentWherever you are, wherever you're going, your future starts here.
