Senior JD Edwards Technical Functional Analyst

Salary: $80,000 - 104,000 per year Requirements:

• 8–15+ years of experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, combining technical development and functional analysis.
• Strong JD Edwards development skills, including Event Rules (ER), Named Event Rules (NER), Business Functions (BSFN), Universal Batch Engines (UBE), Table Conversions, Business Views, and Object Management Workbench (OMW).
• Extensive functional experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Procurement.
• Experience gathering business requirements and designing enterprise solutions.
• Strong SQL skills and database troubleshooting experience.
• Experience configuring and testing JD Edwards applications.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• Preferred: Experience with Distribution, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Order Management, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Preferred: JD Edwards Orchestrator, REST API, Business Services (BSSV), or basic CNC experience; ITIL; project management; or PMP certification.
• Preferred: Exposure to AI, machine learning, and enterprise automation technologies.

• Partner with Finance, Procurement, Operations, and IT leaders to understand objectives and system requirements; lead discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews.
• Analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, document workflows and process maps, and develop functional specifications and technical requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and contribute to project estimates, business cases, and solution recommendations.
• Design, develop, modify, and support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications, custom business functions, applications, reports, and integrations.
• Develop and maintain BSFNs, NERs, ERs, interactive and batch applications, UBEs, Table Conversions, and Business Views; write SQL queries and troubleshoot performance.
• Support Orchestrator, BSSV, REST APIs, and system integrations; coordinate with CNC administrators on deployments, package builds, and environment migrations.
• Provide technical and functional leadership for JD Edwards Finance and Procurement processes, including financial reporting, account structures, period close, banking and payments, requisitions, purchase orders, suppliers, receiving, voucher matching, workflows, and approvals.
• Design enterprise solutions aligned with business strategy, recommend process improvements and automation, evaluate JD Edwards functionality and emerging technologies, and prepare design documentation and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, infrastructure teams, functional teams, and business stakeholders to deliver implementations and enterprise technology initiatives.
• Develop test strategies, use cases, and test scenarios; lead User Acceptance Testing, validate configurations and custom development, and ensure changes are tested before production deployment.
• Support release planning, change management, production operations, and JD Edwards users; troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and provide advanced functional and technical support.
• Create user documentation and training materials, and train end users on new functionality and enhancements.
• Mentor junior analysts and developers, share best practices, coordinate cross-functional work, and promote IT standards, governance, and development practices.
