We are in search of a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner) to become a part of our expanding Podiatry team , serving the communities of Rockport and Belfast . This is an exceptional chance to collaborate with seasoned surgical Podiatrists in a dynamic, high-volume surgical and outpatient setting , all while enjoying the scenic beauty of coastal Maine.

The Advanced Practice Provider will be instrumental in assisting our active surgical Podiatrists through a combined clinical and surgical first-assist role . The APP will manage a designated group of both routine and complex surgical podiatric patients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the treatment process.

• Assist Podiatrists in the operating room for various foot and ankle surgeries, including limb salvage and reconstruction.

• Independently assess, diagnose, and treat a selection of routine and complex podiatry patients.

• Conduct office-based procedures related to podiatric care, such as wound management, injections, and post-operative follow-ups.

• Facilitate post-operative care and recovery coordination.

• Work closely with podiatrists, clinical staff, and the wider care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Engage in quality, safety, and operational initiatives within the practice.

• Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Maine.

• Demonstrated interest or experience in surgical first assist and podiatric medicine.

• Previous experience in podiatry, orthopedics, surgery, or wound care is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and a commitment to collaborative care.

• Excellent communication abilities and a patient-centered approach.
