Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Day/Night Rotating Shifts | 3x12-Hour Shifts Only | 13–18 Week Assignments Available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/HVTI unit, with potential to float to additional units serving the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Complete all required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate, with an acceptable passing score
• Work at least every other holiday as part of scheduling requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown or the specialty being applied for
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required — co-worker references will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU/Progressive Care experience strongly preferred
• Experience with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments
• Familiarity with stepdown or cardiac-focused patient populations
