Customer Service Representative (Healthcare Benefits)
We are seeking reliable and customer-focused Customer Service Representatives to support members and healthcare providers by administering health insurance benefits. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact, assisting callers with questions related to claims, benefits, and eligibility while delivering exceptional service and accurate information.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment, with representatives handling approximately 50-60 inbound calls per day.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls from members and healthcare providers regarding:
- Health insurance claims
- Benefits coverage
- Eligibility inquiries
- Research and resolve customer questions accurately and efficiently
- Document interactions and maintain detailed records within company systems
- Provide outstanding customer service while meeting quality and productivity expectations
- Navigate multiple systems and applications to access and update information
- Identify solutions and escalate complex issues as needed
Required Qualifications
- Previous call center or high-volume customer service experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple systems simultaneously
- Basic computer proficiency, including:
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to attendance expectations
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare, health insurance, or benefits administration experience
- Experience supporting customers in a regulated or service-driven environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
