Description What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyas per established protocols.
• Examine test outcomes for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform both preventative maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Accurately document all lab procedures, mentor new colleagues or students, and help maintain lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• An ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout the duration of your employment.
