Accounts Payable Lead Details:

• Direct hire position
• $ 68,000.00 to $ 75,000.00 / annually
• First shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

The Accounts Payable Lead creates value by maintaining accurate, timely, and meaningful information pertaining to Accounts Payable. The AP Lead helps ensure that internal control guidelines are followed. In addition, the AP Lead will often be the key contact for both vendors and internal personnel and needs to maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders. The AP Lead will support the monthly close process by completing assigned account reviews and analysis. Finally, the AP Lead will be key member of the Accounting Team and is expected to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team.

Accounts Payable Lead Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred)

EXPERIENCE:

• 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships and entry-level positions considered).
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices with proven experience in managing high-volume, complex AP environments.
• Strong ERP experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with financial systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and execute with minimal oversight.
