Business Development Executive The Business Development Executive will focus on new business in several regions, cultivating opportunities and managing a portfolio of potential accounts to meet sales targets. The role includes conducting targeted market research, presenting to potential clients, and collaborating with senior colleagues. Responsibilities Consistently complete sales calls and presentations. Cultivate and handle a large portfolio of potential accounts. Utilize existing networks, account leads, and research insights to gain business or interest from small to manifold potential accounts. Conduct in-depth, targeted market research to identify business opportunities. Interface with internal and external senior-level stakeholders and assist senior colleagues in the deal process. Represent the company at conferences and events to expand professional network. Qualifications Broker license. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of five years’ experience with new business development, ideally with large group insurance experience. Proven insurance industry experience with individual and group insurance products. Base pay is determined by experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and applicable minimum wage requirements. In addition to base salary, the position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. The total rewards package includes health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401(k) savings, and other retirement programs as well as employee assistance programs.
