Automotive Student Technician

The Automotive Student Technician is an entry-level position designed for students pursuing a career in the automotive field. Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of automotive systems and components
• Strong willingness to learn and take direction
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Valid driver's license
• Possess Basic Toolbox
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with diagnostic tools
• Previous internship or hands-on training in automotive services
• Familiarity with safety standards and PPE usage

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs
• Perform basic services such as oil changes, tire rotations, battery checks, and fluid top-offs
• Help diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools (under supervision)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Properly handle tools and equipment
• Document work performed and report findings to supervising technicians
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development
