In This Role You Will: * Contributes to the development of written assessments, care plans, and documents progress with each resident * Assist with the development of the monthly calendar, ensuring it includes daily evening, holiday, and weekend events and activities. * Assists with planning the programs including educational, entertainment, spiritual, and physical activities, and programs.

• Posts activity reminders to encourage participation.
• Decorates designated areas for special events and parties and provides

necessary assistance to residents, helps with preparation and clean up for such events. * Assists in coordinating transportation of residents to outside programs, events, or medical appointments. * Maintains a variety of stimulating activities and supplies for residents who choose and/or can perform activities independently. * Effectively manages problems with difficult or disturbed residents, family, or sponsor/surrogate. Shift Details: * Fulltime Day shift 9:00a -5:00p every other weekend and every other holiday. Who You Are:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; basic

computer-related skills and the ability to learn how to operate office and audio-video equipment. * Previous activity experience in a Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living facility.
