Department: Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering - Special Funds Location: Advanced Technology Training Center Reports To: Program Director, Utility System Tech Recruitment Type: Internal Requisition ID: req6409 Employment Type: Student Union Position: Non-Union Work Schedule: DAYS TO BE DETERMINED BY HIRING MANAGER AND STUDENT Job Description: Learning Objectives: The student willsupport daily operations within the Engineering and Utility TechnologyDepartment, assisting with scheduling, records management, and studentoutreach. They will gain hands-on experience in lab preparation and equipmenthandling, with exposure to safety protocols and technical trainingenvironments. The role will strengthen skills in communication, timemanagement, and the use of institutional systems to support program delivery. Consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester; Maintain satisfactory academic progress; Adhere to College's confidentiality policy; Successfully pass background/drug screening; Answer phone and take messages; Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, copying and faxing; Open and sort mail; Strong interpersonal communication skills; Willingness to learn new technology; Assist with special projects; Other duties as assigned.
