BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) for Christian Hospital (St. Louis, MO) - Graphics (Echocardiology) Dept.

Position Details:

Full-Time Day Shift: Monday-Friday 7am – 3:30pm

Paid On-Call: You'll be compensated for every 5th week & 1 holiday per year for being on-call, even if you're not called in

Graphics (Echocardiology)

Performs tests and procedures at various locations throughout the hospital, maintains accurate patient logs in EPIC, updates daily charges in the computer, utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer, maintains cardiac lab patient files

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or RCS

Experience:

• New grads welcome to apply
• No previous experience required
• If you have experience in one of the following areas, you could be a good fit: Echocardiographer, Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist, Cardiovascular Sonographer, Echocardiography Technologist, Cardiac Imaging Specialist, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers

The ECHO and Stress department of CH performs in depth testing to determine the functioning the human heart

The Cardiac Sonographer performs a variety of cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo and cardiac doppler.

Responsibilities:

• Performs tests and procedures at various locations.
• Maintains accurate patient logs.
• Updates daily charges in the computer, utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer.
• Maintains cardiac lab patient files.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• RDCS or equiv
