Work Arrangement: Onsite

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant to lead finance transformation initiatives and support enterprise billing, revenue management, and subscription billing processes within a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment.

This role will serve as a key liaison between finance leadership and technology teams, helping to optimize financial processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and drive successful ERP implementations and enhancements. The ideal candidate combines strong functional expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance with deep knowledge of billing, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and subscription-based business models.

This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with senior finance stakeholders and play a strategic role in modernizing financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead functional design, configuration, and optimization efforts within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

Partner with finance leadership, including CFO-level stakeholders, to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.

Support billing, revenue management, invoicing, and accounts receivable processes.

Lead subscription billing and recurring revenue management initiatives.

Ensure financial processes align with applicable accounting standards, including ASC 606 and AASB 15 revenue recognition requirements.

Analyze business processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, compliance, and reporting accuracy.

Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and solution design discussions.

Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project leadership throughout implementation and enhancement projects.

Develop process documentation, functional specifications, testing scenarios, and training materials.

Support user acceptance testing, issue resolution, and post-implementation activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

10+ years of functional consulting or finance systems experience.

Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O Finance).

Extensive billing and revenue management experience.

Subscription billing experience.

Strong understanding of invoicing and accounts receivable processes.

Experience applying ASC 606 and/or AASB 15 revenue recognition standards.

Experience supporting service contracts involving performance obligations and time-based revenue recognition.

Experience working directly with CFOs, Finance Directors, Controllers, or senior finance stakeholders.

Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

US market experience.

Ability to lead billing and finance process initiatives from requirements through deployment.

Preferred Qualifications:

D365 Finance certifications.

ERP implementation or transformation project experience.

Experience with complex revenue recognition models.

Consulting experience within enterprise environments.

Strong financial reporting and compliance background.

Experience supporting multi-entity or large-scale organizations.

Compensation & Benefits:
