Supervising Attorney (Personal Injury / Insurance Defense) Location: South Carolina (On-Site) Position Overview A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Supervising Attorney to play a key leadership role in supporting the firm’s continued regional expansion. This position is focused on driving attorney performance, enforcing operational standards, and building scalable processes across the legal team. This is an in-office leadership role designed for an experienced attorney with a background in plaintiff personal injury or insurance defense , who excels at team development, performance management, and implementing structure within a fast‑paced legal environment. The Supervising Attorney will partner closely with firm leadership to elevate team quality, ensure consistency in case handling, and support the firm’s growth strategy. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of attorneys and legal staff to drive consistent, high-quality performance Enforce adherence to firmwide standard operating procedures (SOPs) and case management protocols Track, analyze, and manage key performance metrics , including case progression, timelines, and productivity Provide strategic oversight on case handling, including litigation strategy, negotiations, and escalation of complex matters Review and provide feedback on pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement materials to ensure quality and consistency Partner with leadership to refine workflows, improve operational efficiency, and support scalable growth initiatives Identify gaps in performance and implement coaching, training, and development plans Foster a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement Act as a senior resource for legal and operational issue resolution Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active license and good standing with the South Carolina Bar 8+ years of legal experience in either plaintiff personal injury or insurance defense Demonstrated experience in attorney management, supervision, or team leadership Strong understanding of litigation processes and case lifecycle management Proven ability to implement processes, track performance metrics, and drive accountability Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Comfortable working in a structured, in-office environment Preferred Experience Experience in high-volume or process-driven practice environments Background supporting firm growth, scaling teams, or operational improvements Familiarity with case management systems, reporting tools, and workflow optimization #J-18808-Ljbffr Tower Legal Solutions
