About the Role
The Company is seeking a Field VP, National Sales to take on a pivotal role in the regional implementation and execution of national sales programs, strategies, and priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing account penetration across national sales customers, driving sales growth, and enhancing customer relationships at the top level. This role demands a professional with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a selling organization, particularly in a contract-driven environment, and a background in the food service industry or a related field. The Field VP will be tasked with owning and driving new business development, establishing high-impact relationships with C-Suite and key leaders, and executing on product conversions and contract maximization to achieve sales and profit goals. Applicants for the Field VP, National Sales position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with an advanced degree preferred. The role requires a candidate with demonstrated executive presence, consultative selling skills, and the ability to influence senior decision-makers. The ideal candidate will have a high level of financial and business acumen, be adept at using technology and analysis tools, and have a deep understanding of the food service industry, including the complexities of leading and managing in a contract sales environment. Responsibilities also include partnering with regional and area leadership to develop and implement innovative sales strategies, measuring national sales performance, and assisting in the coaching and talent development of the sales force. The role is remote and requires extensive travel within the assigned region.
