Field Engineer | Semiconductor Construction
Location: Chandler, Arizona
Schedule: Full-time, on-site contract

PPG Staffing is recruiting a Field Engineer to support construction work at Intel’s Chandler campus. This person will work alongside field supervision to keep installation, subcontractor coordination, quality, and project documentation moving.

Responsibilities

• Walk the site to verify work against drawings, specifications, layout, and project requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and upcoming field activities with the superintendent and project team.
• Review drawings and shop drawings; help resolve discrepancies before they affect installation.
• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, field changes, and progress documentation.
• Support inspections, quality checks, safety practices, and schedule updates.
• Identify field issues early and work with the team to resolve them.

Qualifications

• Construction field engineering or project engineering experience with a general contractor.
• Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate work across multiple trades.
• Strong organization, communication, and on-site problem-solving skills.
• Industrial, semiconductor, or other high-tech construction experience is preferred.
• A construction management or engineering degree, or equivalent field experience, is preferred.
