Junior Staff Accountant

Based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, the company has built a strong reputation in the neckwear category and expanded over time into socks, underwear, accessories, tailored clothing and sportswear. Job Description We're looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance function as the business continues to scale. What You'll Do Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries Support monthly close processes and account reconciliations Manage cash flow reconciliation and reporting Help prepare royalty reports for licensed brand partners Assist with budgeting and expense tracking across departments Maintain organized, accurate financial records and documentation What We're Looking For 3-5 years of accounting experience (apparel, wholesale, or licensing industry experience a plus) Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proficiency in Excel; experience with Microsoft D365 or similar ERP/accounting software preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) a plus Why Join Us This is an opportunity to join a growing company at an exciting stage, with exposure across licensing, wholesale, and an emerging direct-to-consumer strategy.
