Type: Temp-To-Hire | Full-Time
Salary: (Based on Experience) up to $75k per year Pro Resources is partnering with a well-established nonprofit organization in Indianapolis to hire a Senior Accountant with strong nonprofit and grant accounting experience. This role is best suited for someone who understands fund accounting, grant compliance, and nonprofit financial reporting. What You'll Do
- Manage full-cycle accounting including general ledger, AP/AR, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Oversee grant tracking, reporting, and compliance
- Partner with internal teams to manage grant budgets and allocations
- Maintain and improve internal controls and financial processes
- Assist with audit preparation and auditor coordination
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, nonprofit standards, and funding requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- At least 2+ years in a nonprofit environment
- Hands-on experience with grant accounting and fund accounting
- Experience with SAGE Intacct or similar ERP systems preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple funding sources
