About the Role

The Company is in search of a President to serve as the primary liaison to its Shareholders and provide executive oversight of key corporate functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including serving as the main point of contact for Shareholders on various matters, providing executive oversight of the General Counsel, Chief Financial Officer, and other corporate functions, and leading strategic initiatives related to the region's lands and natural resources. The President will also be expected to build and maintain relationships with tribal governments, village corporations, and regional stakeholders, and to partner with the CEO and Executive Management Team to ensure that business strategy aligns with the organization's responsibilities. Applicants for the President position at the company must be Shareholders of the company and hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree. A minimum of 10 years of leadership or executive management experience, and at least 5 years of experience working with executive leadership teams, boards of directors, or similar governing bodies, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in overseeing multiple organizational functions, knowledge of ANCSA, and experience in an Alaska Native Corporation environment. The role also demands a valid driver's license, the ability to travel, and a commitment to the values and mission of the organization.
