Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the psychosocial needs of patients and their families at the Hospice Center.

• Facilitate counseling sessions either individually or in group settings, employing evidence-based methodologies tailored to client needs.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.

• Provide education and resources to patients and families about coping mechanisms and mental health strategies.

• Stay informed about advancements in mental health care and incorporate new techniques and practices into your work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work primarily with patients facing terminal illnesses and their families, addressing emotional and psychological challenges during a sensitive and challenging time. Qualifications\n
