Patient Access Representative Lead

Location: SSM Saint Louis University Hospital - St. Louis, MO Schedule: Variable shifts between 10:00 am - 2:30 am, including weekend, holiday and on-call rotations. Job Summary Leads assigned staff in performing activities related to patient registration. Responsibilities Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and staff. Serves as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff. Assigns, monitors and reviews progress of work. Monitors and reports compliance with policies and/or procedures. Oversees and evaluates orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance. Performs the duties of a Patient Access Representative. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience. Experience: Two years' experience. Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs; frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements; use of vision, hearing, keyboard, etc.; occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping; occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs; rare climbing.
