Position Overview:

The Operations Assistant & Dispatcher exists to keep MedPro Disposal's and MP1 Solutions' daily field operations running smoothly. This role manages the end-to-end fulfillment of our mailback program, dispatches local routes for maximum efficiency and accuracy, and serves as the primary point of contact for route drivers and third-party haulers. Success means service is delivered on time, hauler and vendor relationships stay well-managed, and operational standards stay high as MedPro and MP1 continue to scale their compliance services across 35,000+ providers nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Operations Support
  • Review and manage daily local operations tasks.
  • Communicate with drivers regarding route changes and service updates.
  • Work through Level 3 task escalations and assist with issue resolution.
  • Support the Mailback Program by managing day-to-day operational tasks.
  • Monitor and update third-party hauler operations, including account setups for both local and third-party vendors.
  • Follow up on accounts awaiting hauler confirmation to ensure timely onboarding and service activation.
  • Manage escalated hauler-related tasks that require additional follow-up or resolution.
  • Provide daily visibility into operational issues, service delays, and problem haulers.
  • Track and report key operational KPI metrics, identify trends, and communicate areas requiring attention.
  • Assist with other operational projects and administrative tasks as assigned to support the Operations team.

Qualifications:

• Years of experience: 3+ years of route dispatch or warehouse operations experience preferred. Minimum 2 years driving trucks or commercial vans with a clean driving record required.
• Industry background: Previous experience in a business work environment required.
• Technical skills: Proficiency with AI tools/platforms; Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Freight & vendor management: Working knowledge of LTL (less-than-truckload) and full truckload freight brokerage, with strong vendor management skills to coordinate and dispatch hauler drops.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; equivalent experience accepted.
• Other: Must be US-based; valid driver's license with clean driving record; able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs; available for occasional Saturday shifts as needed; maintain a professional yet casual appearance; must successfully pass pre-employment screening.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with healthcare services, medical waste, or related compliance industries.
• Experience with 3PL fulfillment providers, dispatch / routing software, or fleet management systems.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive Annual Pay: $55,000 – $61,000 per year.
